Time to ACT on CDS!

On 24th August there will be a meeting of State Environment Ministers in Canberra to decide whether to adopt a Nationwide Container Deposit Scheme (CDS). WE MUST ACT NOW TO TELL OUR POLITICIANS WE WANT A 10c REFUND ON BOTTLES AND CANS.

Last week I walked a 200m stretch of my road and collected 87 recyclable bottles & cans that would not be littered if we had a CDS. Currently Australia allows 8 BILLION beverage containers to be landfilled or littered every year. It’s not good enough!
